It's Time To Get Involved!
FMO is in the process of raising $60,000 for OUR
Financial Freedom Campaign!

We're going to use this money for scholarhips, the enhancement of programming of all satellites and affiliates
and the building of a FMO memorial.

We need your help!
The money is beginning to roll in so let's keep it coming!
We ask that you guys ask your parents, friends, family or any other interested individuals for financial support!
In order to attain our goal we need everyone to pitch in.
Since all of you will benefit from these funds it would be fantastic if you could all help!

So, talk to your parents and friends and contact
Marrion Johnson, our Fundraising Chair at
MarrionJohnson2007@u.northwestern.edu for more information

Become a Moderator for Bridging the Gap!

Description:  The moderator's primary purpose is to facilitate the dialogues on a bi-monthly basis ensuring the participants meet the program's problem statement:

Northwestern students tend to self-segregate. Inadvertently and at times intentionally, we are categorized on the basis of race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, or religious faith. The separation is particularly emphasized within Northwestern's Greek community. Students experience a profound disconnect between Greek organizations, which fosters misconceptions and indifference towards one another. There is a desperate need for candid conversation and increased interaction between individuals and groups of different backgrounds and with different affiliations. Bridging the Gap seeks to provide the forum for this type of conversation through dialogue facilitated by two trained moderators and a group of engaged participants who are members of the Greek community..

The individuals selected to moderate will receive a two-day training facilitated by representatives from the Sustained Dialogue Campus Network Office.  The training will most likely occur the weekend after our first week of classes.

Please complete the following application and return to Abby Longbottom at abbylongbottom@gmail.com by FRIDAY, MAY 30. Use as much space as necessary in order to adequately answer the questions.
