VOTE JULIAN HILL FOR ASG PRESIDENT TUESDAY!
April 9th, 2007(this note is being reproduced from nuformembersonly.org/wordpress)
FMO Members,
Tomorrow from 8am to 8pm, voting will take place to elect our next Associated Student Government President and Vice Presidents. Many people fail to realize the importance of our student government. It is instrumental in providing better student services, lobbying our university administration, and, as it distributes over 1 million dollars in funding, ultimately determining the caliber of programming our student groups can offer (especially for FMO!!!). It is imperative that our voice is heard in this decision.
VOTE JULIAN HILL FOR ASG PRESIDENT
As all of you know, Julian is FMO’s outgoing President. As President of our student group, he was amazing. Julian’s vision for FMO provided much needed organizational/structural changes, and his visible commitment, excitement, and hard work touched a nerve with our constituency - evidenced by our steadily increasing general member participation. Moreover, not only has Julian spent the past year serving on several university committees, he has done his best to make these same options available to other members of our communities. I can speak to having personally benefited from several opportunities of which Julian made me aware.
Julian has spent his time at Northwestern committed to FMO’s constituency, and the Northwestern community as a whole. He is someone who puts students first everyday. I know that if Julian is elected he will do his absolute best, work his absolute hardest, to make Northwestern a better place for students.
